Karen Clymer Burnard has proudly served as the Executive Director at Kingston Residence of Perrysburg for 23 years.  Her passion for the elderly began when volunteering at a nursing home while in high school.   After college, she loved working in dietary, social services and admissions in a senior care facility.  These varied experiences gave her a deeper understanding of the industry and also sparked a desire to learn and grow.   Karen’s passion lies in creating a warm, fun, and rewarding workplace and a welcoming, compassionate place to call home for all residents.  

Karen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University and her Master of Education degree from Ashland University.  

Outside of work, she enjoys photography, gardening, cooking for her family and beach vacations.

Dodi Chaney is the Admissions Director at Kingston Residence of Perrysburg where she helps seniors and their families navigate through the adventure of moving into our Assisted Living Community. She is passionate about making the experience of transitioning into their new home enjoyable and relaxed. 

She is most fulfilled watching her residents from the beginning of their journey from touring to moving in and becoming a part of the Kingston Family.  She values honesty, communication and sensitivity while working closely with residents and their families. She began her career with Kingston Health Care in 2007. She is the perfect Ambassador for Team Kingston!

Dodi enjoys traveling with her husband, floating in her pool, and spending time with her family. She especially loves attending her grandchildren’s sporting and school events!

Geoffery-Lynne Schober is the Director of Nursing at Kingston Residence of Perrysburg. She is a 4th generation nurse beginning with her Great-Grandmother in WWI, her Grandmother in WWII through her death in 2003 and her Mother who remains a nurse educator. She herself has over 20 years of nursing experience, beginning with her LPN in 2004 and then completing her RN in 2016. She has previous experience in the role of DON in Skilled Nursing. 

Geoffery-Lynne has worked in a wide array of healthcare fields and environments, including Long Term and Skilled Care, hospital Med/Surg, Mental Health Case Management and as Hospice Home Care Nurse. She values her role as a nurse to be her purpose and calling. She believes nursing to be the Art of caring for the entire person on a holistic level.  

Geoffery-Lynne enjoys the outdoors and spending time in nature, especially with her family, along with the Arts of all varieties and history.

Amanda is the Activity Director at Kingston Residence of Perrysburg. She has had a long-standing career at KRP, she first began working in 1998 as a dietary aide while she was freshman at Perrysburg High School.

Her father worked for the city of Perrysburg and would come home talking about the “massive” building being built on the other side of the tracks next to his work. She took interest in the building at that time hearing how he talked about it, so when she heard they were hiring she rode her bike several miles to apply for a position in dietary. She knew that she enjoyed helping the elderly at an early age as she would help her elderly neighbor clean her house. She also enjoyed helping her mother with a Perrysburg senior group that her mom was in charge of planning and implementing activities with.

After she graduated from high school she was soon promoted to a cook, she would bring in her great grandma’s recipes to make special meals for the residents. Amanda worked as the Culinary Manager for 15 years.

She found her calling as Activity Director in April of 2022. She is dedicated to creating meaningful programs that spark the resident’s interest. Her success has been listening to what the people want and making it happen. Building relations with residents, families, volunteers, and the staff has always been a passion of hers. Helping to create an environment where people can openly talk to each other has always been her goal and at Kingston we have achieved this. The activity department includes a Wellness Coach, activity assistants and a chauffeur. The environment they create as a department is contagious, they bring energy.

Amanda loves to bring her pug Gus into work, everyone adores him. She usually jokes saying her name is now Gus.
